1:45pm Meet at Swanson Park and Ride Behind the Challenge Petrol Station by 1:45pm [note, not Waitakere].

The excellent Swanson Station Cafe is 1 minute walk away for those that might like lunch together or to pick up coffee and counter food. Just get there earlier. Back up is Redwoods Cafe 1min in opposite direction.

2:00pm Leave for Bethells Beach

2:30pm Arrive at Johnny Wheeler’s Secret Gate 240 Bethells Rd - engage 4WD, Air Down… Sand dunes await. Trip Leader Graeme Williams. Cost $40 per vehicle. Bring cash to give to Graeme. 

5:00pm Leave Bethells Beach and head back to Swanson.

5:30pm Arrive Swanson RSA 663 Swanson Road, Swanson, Auckland 0612. tons of off-street parking.

Get a pre-dinner drink at the bar or go straight in to the restaurant. Sunday Buffet: $38.00 per person. Children 12 years or under $1.50 per year of age. The Sunday Buffet special has a great selection of fresh salads, carvery meats, vegetable dishes, seafood and sides.

7:00pm LROCA 2024 AGM Starts Downstairs, bring your drinks with you. We can break part way through for a top up.

9:00pm Go Home the doors will be locked behind us…

Bethells Dunes run is Grade 1 with Trip Leader’s discretion on the day. There may be a track or two we want to do where The Precious need to be parked for a few minutes and occupants drop into spare seats in Grade 2 & 3 trucks.

The Annual General Meeting Shall:
• Receive apologies
• Ratify the previous minutes
• Present President’s and financial reports
• Elect the committee
• Set a limit for committee expenditure that does not require Club approval
• Set the entry fee if any
• Set subscriptions for all membership types
• Other business properly notified
