An "English" day out on the beach

As part of Stu's duties to Land Rover and the RWC he arranged an afternoon's spin up the beach with a crowd of rugby players...  and they just happened to play for England. Brett & myself were part of the 'instructor' team.

What beasts! (they were the 3 litre diesels though - not supercharged V8s....)

Great weather and some fun driving in the sand.

And to add to the scenery, we had a helicopter hovering over us now and again plus doing really, really low fly pastsas as we drove...

(and appalling photo - the chopper looks like it was just hanging there in space! )

On my side though, having your eyeballs scraped out by downdraft sand was no fun.
