Woodhill Washouts! Saturday 24 July
Kevin and Oddball took us into the depths of the forest where there were plentyh of washouts to keep drivers busy with their navigation. Oddball of course took every opportunity to dive into freshly filled 'lakes' not always with success!

Here's Oddball mid-rescue, after various winching moments...
In the "Mud Holes" playpen, there more rescues going than you could shake a stick at, to the great delight of the movie-taker visitors.

Away from the watery stuff, Leonard succumbed to a "I bet you can't make it up and out of this one" challenge - and promptly complied!

Later on at the Moguls, all had great fun cruising the trenches. Ian's P38 serenely wafts through this one, just seconds before coming to a slushy halt in the gloop at the end...

Stuart Lee also succumbed to the gloopiness at the end of this trench, leaving Kevin to show off his ballet tricks :))

Ian's P38 had another go but didn't get through - again... Stuart was lined up for the winch recovery session but we needed a bridge... Brian dutifully obliged.

Others in the forest also had some trouble getting stuck! This Ni**an's winch wire broke and just who should be conveniently placed but James & Jackie in their D3 with their squeaky clean winch. The D3 was anchored to a tree behind and the (sorry advert coming...) Tigerz12 winch 25.4 millimetered (metric equivalent of 'inched') him out of the goo.
There was much ado in the area at the time - ask someone who was there for all the gory details!
Thanks to Kevin and the plucky LR club patrollers who helped us all out at the end of the day...
~~Neil
