BFM Training Day [21 March 2010]

Contrary to all expectations, only 6 raindrops fell on the asembled host of Land Rovers and Guest vehicles at our annual Training Day!

[Horse gets down to earth with a D3 to secure a strap (with style...]

Thanks to superb organisation from Ian Hallam and his merry band of volunteers these drops were no deterrent whatsoever on the (mostly) bone dry training ground... The theme as easy does it, safely and with style.

Some 45 vehicles collected themselves at the farm for a rip-snorter of a welcome from El Presidente quickly followed by the main briefing. Stuart Lee then took the Easy Riders under his wing in the 'campsite' section for basic training while Dave Stephens took the "Wild Ones" out into the nether regions for some much more tricky stuff and challenges.

[Meetings]

There was good mix of Roundies (RRs and Discos plus a Suzi, Cruiser and a J**p), Rectangles (90/109/110/Defenders) plus the lonely Square (Series SWB) TIINKA.

[Well set up ex UK V8 90 on the campsite track]

Naturally for our club, the family hordes were well in evidence...
