Nikau Farm & Cave - Port Waikato (not Whitford!)

A shiny family run - no hard yakka -  ATs are fine;

All metal roads, grass and some black sand.

As well as the farm/beach run there is a cafe and glowworm cave tour 5 mins down the road. The cave is 1km long, no walkways here, it's caving, walking up the stream over around and under rocks. (see cave details/costs below)

$25 per vehicle for farm access + $10 club trip fee.

CAVE:

The cave tour in groups of 10-12 is 1km long with 15 m on hands and knees, the rest not too bad.

Kids 5yrs & older with an aduilt but able to walk the 1km cave and 1.2km walk back.
Bring :change of clothes :old training shoes with good tread (MTs!) you will get wet as walking in stream. No crocs!

Shower at cafe for clean/warming up.. $30 for adult  $15 for kids still at school
EFTPOS but no creditcard (for cave tour and cafe)
