Daring rescue - Oddball

They turned in at the farm house just up Mccleod rd to take them on a track which would bring them upto the front of them, however they could only get about half way they quite suprised to see me behind them, so i politely asked (any one need a lift) exellent!!! was the reply.

as things prgressed i ferried firemen and equipment to and fro, things eased a little for a minute or two . then the cheif  said would you go back up to the house there's a paramedic on the way we need to get them down here as soon as,  woooohoooo (it was like when you said 3.2.1)

when they arrived there were 3 of them and thousands of $$$$$$ worth of gear (but there's only one seat) and they were all girls never the less they pilled on
i think i heard one of them say drive carefully (who me) i always do i replied, they arrived intact gear and all. Then a short rest while they worked out a plan to get her out of there do you want to put the stretcher across the back i said?  NO it will be to rough, but it to far to carry her out so we will call westpac rescue       uhhh nice

These guys must have been waiting around the corner within minutes of his call they where coming in looking  for somwhere to land he got pretty darn close but was only able to touch down to drop of his crew then went to find a level spot.

At this point the paramedic needed a special splint but the westpac did'nt have one but quess what THERE WAS ONE IN THE AMBULNCE    no need to ask   woooohoooo  so off i went with one of the ambo crew but as we rounded a corner we found where the chopper had gone?  he was parked on the only bit of level track their was and it was still running, as i pulled up i signaled i needed to go past you can quess what he said!  when the paramedic explained what was needed  he got out and came over to me and said if i shut it down can you get round without hitting the blades          wooooooohoooooooo can i what   TO which he said i'm serious there's 3.7MILLION there!!!!! i'll be carefull it seems to take a long time for them blades to stop!

so around we went with out any problems     upto the ambo got the splint and away back we went
every thing went like clockwork so i asked  the police if they had a camera? yep i"ve got one said the ocifer, want for    If i can get close enough to the chopper i would ilke a couple of pics   no problem he said so  they loaded the gear back on and back we wen.

I got quite close as i had the co-pilots gear on  the pilot was a little calmer this time, while we talking he said he gets very nevous when vehicles are around  he does'nt normally let them this close  the police ocifer took the pics and hopefully he will e-mail them to me sortly.
the girl will prodably be in hospital for a while and may require knee reconstruction.
